Are you all ready for the grand finale today? Delhi, making its debut in the finals against Mumbai, the defending champions. Stock up enough snacks and drinks for the gripping final tonight. Oh, wait! How excited would you be for the match if there's a piece of breaking news saying- 'The match is fixed'. (This is purely hypothetical) Match-fixing generally refers to  fixing the final result of the game . Another form of match-fixing, known as spot-fixing, involves fixing small events within a match that can be gambled upon, but which are unlikely to prove decisive in determining the final result of the game. In the case of any sport, cases of fixing or fraud are considered very serious. The spirit of any game lies with the integrity of the sportsperson (What's the point of a game that has a fixed result).
